Our Governance

Please find below details about our governance structure, constitution, safeguarding policy and our Privacy Policy.

Governance Structure

The Charity is both governed and managed operationally by its trustees, who are as follows:

  • Gemma Coteman
  • Gerald Coteman
  • Laura Coteman
  • Emma Lane

The Board of Trustees is supported by an administrator (unpaid).

The day to day business of the charity is managed by designated trustees who operate to agreed policies and procedures, and within the Charity’s constitution. The Trustees meet in person as required but at least once a year for the Charity’s annual meeting. Other meetings, and decision making, for example on grantmaking, may be managed virtually (by phone or email) with appropriate records being kept of decisions made.

The absence of a hierarchy and ‘heavy process’ enables the Charity to respond quickly to requests for help and support – given the nature of pancreatic cancer this is vital. The Charity remains accountable for all decisions and actions, and a summary of its activities can be seen in the Charity’s Annual report and Accounts, which will be available on the Charity’s website after each financial year end.
