The Elizabeth Coteman Fund’s dogged athlete, Gerald Coteman, took it on the chin (and everywhere else!) to raise over £1000 for the Fund in the Pain and Suffering Race. The ‘Suffering’ as it is known is one of the hardest obstacle races Great Britain has to offer, having taken inspiration from fell running, cross country and obstacle racing to create the ultimate race challenge. Set in the harsh terrain of the grounds of Rockingham Castle the 12 mile plus obstacle race is a hardcore challenge even for the most experienced OCR runner.
